Designer’s ID partnered with SKNZ to design and develop a native mobile application that serves as an extension of their Shopify eCommerce website. The app was aimed at enhancing the user experience by offering features such as unlocking tutorial videos upon product purchase and leveraging AI to analyze skin and recommend suitable treatments.
Challenge
SKNZ required a fully integrated eCommerce mobile app that seamlessly connects to their Shopify website through APIs. Additional custom features were requested, such as unlocking exclusive tutorial videos post-purchase and an AI-powered skin analysis tool to recommend personalized treatments from their product range. Ensuring smooth functionality and integration with these advanced features was the primary challenge.
Solution
Designer’s ID designed and developed the SKNZ mobile app from scratch, focusing on seamless integration with their Shopify store through APIs. We implemented the requested features, including the custom video unlocking system and AI-driven skin analysis. The app was built using Flutter for a hybrid solution, while a PHP Laravel backend CMS was created to ensure flexibility and dynamic data management.
Result
The result was a fully functional hybrid mobile app that aligns perfectly with SKNZ’s vision.
